Cable Repair Station - Drum & Large trailing cable repairs
 CCE manufactures a cable repair station or facility capable of handling our range of cable drums and trailing cable used by open cast mines and other industries needing to repair trailing and large cables.
This facility allows customers to place the drum with broken cable at a feeding section passing through a centralized repair bench to an empty drum. Cable is fed to the empty drum until the damaged section is reached. Once this section is on the repair table the cable is clamped down to enable stable cable repair operations. Once the repair is executed the cable is wound onto the empty drum.
The repair table is fitted with a mechanical spreader allowing smooth spreading of spooled cable onto the drums. A single drive unit is fitted to the empty or spooling drum section. This enables easy spooling of cable and ensures a quick reliable spooling operation.
All controls are fitted to the repair bench to allow ease of use by a single operator.
